Steps to access your files:
• Unscrew the top of the pen to expose the USB port.
• Connect the device to a PC or Mac using the supplied
• USB cable.
• Make sure the device is powered off.
• The device will appear as “Removable Disk”.
• Open it and access the VIDEO and PHOTO folders.
• Double-click files to view them
NOTE: No app / Wi-Fi required
Playback Issue?
If your video playback on your computer is completely black/or if files are corrupted, then your issue is your default video player.
• Your device may be missing the required video codec.
• Install VLC Media Player — available for PC, Mac, iOS, and Android.
NOTE: VLC player supports most video formats and resolves playback issues instantly.
When the camera is used for the first time, it automatically creates a time.txt file on the microSD card
Adjusting steps:
• Power off the device and unscrew the top to access the USB port.
• Connect it to a PC or Mac (via USB cable or microSD card reader).
• Locate the file: time.txt
• Edit the file using this format: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS Y/N
Example: 2026-01-26 19:20:35 Y
Y = show timestamp on video
N = hide timestamp on video
• Save and apply.
NOTE: No app / Wi-Fi required
1. Check battery level
• Charge the device for at least 30 minutes.
• Confirm the RED LED flashes during charging.
2. Verify the microSD card
• Insert a compatible microSD card (Class 10, up to 128GB recommended).
• If the RED LED flashes and the device turns off, the card may not be recognized.
NOTE: Some variations include a microSD card.
The device cannot operate without a microSD card inserted.
3. Perform a reset
• Press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds.
• The device will restart automatically.

No need to return the product.
When the RED light flashes for 5 seconds and the camera automatically turns off, the device can not recognize the microSD card.
Please check:
• Make sure a microSD card is properly inserted.
• Use a compatible card: 32GB–256GB, Class 10 recommended.
• For optimal performance, use the FAT32 file system on Windows or the FAT file system on Mac.
NOTE: Some variations include a microSD card.
The device cannot operate without a microSD card inserted.
NOTE: Formatting will erase all data stored on the microSD card. Back up important files before proceeding.
1. Verify File System Format
• The microSD card must be formatted to FAT32 (Windows).
• Mac users should select the FAT format.
2. Format the microSD Card (Windows)
• Insert the microSD card into your computer.
• Open File Explorer.
• Right-click the microSD card drive and select “Format.”
• Choose FAT32 as the file system.
• Select “Quick Format.”
• Click “Start” to begin formatting.
3. Format the microSD Card (Mac)
• Insert the microSD card into your Mac.
• Open Disk Utility.
• Select the microSD card from the left panel.
• Click Erase.
• For “Format,” select MS-DOS (FAT).
• Click Erase to begin formatting.
Steps to fix it:
1. Charge with a standard 5V / 1A–2A adapter for at least 2 hours.
2. Try another USB cable or power source.
3. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3–5 seconds.
4. If the LED lights up or blinks, the camera is powered on.
NOTE: For best performance, fully charge the device before first use.

Does the pen work without a microSD card?
No. A microSD card must be inserted for recording to function.
Recommended:
• Class 10
• 32GB–128GB (up to 256GB supported depending on version)
If no card is detected, the RED LED flashes 5 times and the device powers off automatically.
Does this pen require Wi-Fi or an app?
No. The device works independently. No Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, and no app are required.
1. Standby Auto Power-Off (Normal Operation)
• If the camera remains in STANDBY MODE (solid GREEN light) with no activity for 60 seconds, it will automatically turn off
• This function helps preserve battery life.
2. Low or Insufficient Battery Charge
If the device powers off shortly after turning on:
• Charge the device using a standard 5V / 1A–2A USB adapter.
• Charge for at least 2 hours before testing again.
• Try a different USB cable or power source.
• Press and hold the power ON/OFF button for 3–5 seconds.
• If the LED lights up or blinks, the device is powered on.
For best performance, fully charge the device before first use.
3. No microSD Card Detected
A microSD card is required for recording.
If the RED LED flashes 5 times, no card is detected.
Please verify:
• A microSD card is properly inserted.
• Use a compatible card: 32GB–256GB, Class 10 recommended.
• Test the card in another device (phone, camera, or computer).
If the issue continues:
• Format the microSD card to FAT32

1. Verify Media Player Compatibility
Some default media players may not fully support the video file format.
This may result in black screen playback or incomplete video rendering.
2. Use an Alternative Media Player
• Install a media player that supports standard AVI video formats (e.g., VLC Media Player).
• After installation, right-click the recorded video file.
• Select “Open with” and choose the installed media player.
Not Recording. What should I do?
1. If won’t Turn On / No LED:
• Charge with a standard 5V / 1A–2A adapter for at least 2 hours.
• Try another cable or power source.
• Press and hold the button for 3–5 seconds.
• If the LED lights up or blinks, the device is powered on.
2. Perform a Hard Reset
If the device becomes unresponsive:
• Insert the reset pin into the RESET hole
• Hold for 5 seconds
• The camera will restart automatically.
3. Check microSD
A microSD card is required for recording. The red LED flashes 5 times if no card is detected.
